Daj Włos! (Give Hair!) to women undergoing oncological treatment!
How to do it? You can donate 35 cm of natural hair, which we will use to weave a wig, or make a donation to purchase high-quality synthetic hair wigs. Help women who have lost their hair as a result of oncological treatment today. It is a great support for them during this difficult time. Donate what you can. It will still be more than you think.
Wigs are reimbursed by the National Health Fund (NFZ) up to the limit of PLN 250, and the price of both high-quality synthetic hair wigs and natural hair wigs is high (from one and a half to several thousand zlotys). That is why we have been helping people undergoing chemotherapy look good for 11 years – in the Daj Włos! Give Hair! Program they receive wigs free of charge.
Everyone can cut their hair for a good cause and hand them over to Rak’n’Roll. After this they will make their way to a wig company called Rokoko, which will make comfortable wigs as long as… well – please remember:
Each count of negligence turns this precious gift into worthless material that needs to be utilized.

Give (good) Hair.
1. Coloured or lightened hair cannot make a wig.
If your hair has been coloured or lightened (bleached) – its structure does not allow them to make a wig. You can help patients by donating money, so that they can buy synthetic wigs or support our Foundation in any other project (raknroll.pl).
2. Cut hair must have at least 35 cm or more in length (measure before you braid the hair). It cannot be less and it does not matter that you really want to do this or there is a special occasion. The hair length is not a subject to negotiation. If they do not have the tight length, they cannot be used.
3. They need to be washed without the use of a conditioner. If you use a conditioner or a hair mask, they become too slippery to weave a wig. Cut you hair in their natural condition.
4. Packing for shipment – they have to be dry. If they remain moist in the package they will become moldy.
5.They need to be braided.
The person making the wig needs to be 100% certainty where the base and the end of the hair is located. Only braided hair gives this certainty. They need to be tied firmly at both ends with a rubber band.
We need your details, so that we can confirm your free of charge and voluntary gift of hair and so that we can contact you when the hair arrives at the Foundation. Our thank you will follow to the e-mail address that you submit.
Fill out the form – this is the first step to helping. Highlight the necessary consent and save the data. A PDF file will appear. Save it, print and sign. Place it in an envelope together with the hair.
Your data is safe under a QR code. It can be decoded only by our application.
How to donate your hair?
We kindly ask to wrap the hair in paper / paper towel and, together with the signed printout of the online form, send it in an envelope to the Foundation’s address: al. Wilanowska 313A, 02-665 Warsaw with the annotation: Daj Włos! . Please do not wrap your hair in printed declaration – it will definitely make our work easier.
